(Columbia, SC | Central SC Alliance) - Industry recruitment is going strong in South Carolina and the Central SC Region. The South Carolina Department of Commerce (SCDOC) released it's recruitment report for the 2020 year, noting more than $4 Billion in capital investments statewide. According to Central SC Alliance (CSCA) records, more than 25% of that $4 Billion are from investments in regional locations.
SCDOC's report also broke out the Top 10 capital investment projects of the year. Three of those 10 investments are local.
