COLUMBIA, S.C. (December 23, 2015) Advanta Industries, Inc. (Advanta), a company that specializes in material handling applications, is expanding its existing Clarendon County facility, which operates as Advanta Southeast, LLC. The company is investing $2.6 million to create 26 new jobs over the next five years.

Established in 1997 and headquartered in Petersburg, Mich., Advanta is a family-owned firm that serves the automotive, industrial, energy and defense industries. In total, the expansion is expected to result in the creation of more than 25 new jobs. Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2016.
