F. Hunt Enterprise digs in at new Hunt Brothers® Pizza facility in Clarendon County, SC

July 21, 2021

COLUMBIA, S.C. (July 21, 2021 | Central SC Alliance) - As the sun broke through the cloud cover over the Clarendon County Industrial Park, team members representing the Hunt Brothers® Pizza brand broke into the top layers of the ground at the newest company facility in Manning, South Carolina (Clarendon County). The facility - a custom-built 7,500 square foot distribution center - adds more than just physical space to the 15-year long history that the company has in the county.

"We're not just building a building, we're establishing a home for FHE (F. Hunt Enterprises) and Hunt Brothers® Pizza," says Frank Hunt, President of F. Hunt Enterprises, LLC. "Lord willing, it will be here for many more years into the future."

Hunt Brothers® supports 7,800 convenience stores across 31 states, and is the largest made-to-order pizza company in the convenience store industry according to Gary Steele, Vice President of Supply Chain of Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc., Hunt Advantage Group, LLC.

"Over the years, many of us have envisioned the potential of this project here in Clarendon County in Manning. When this project is completed, it'll be one step closer to fulfilling our potential in South Carolina and the region. I, for one, am looking forward to this opportunity and prosperity of this community," explains Steele. "We strive to be a blessing by investing in the lives of others through our actions and decisions, such as building this new distribution center."

Zeke Lynam, Vice President of Lynam Construction, alongside his father and company President Bill Lynam, are leading the construction efforts of the facility. In addition to warehousing space, the building will also host offices, a kitchen, five truck docks and more.

"As you can all see, there is a lot going on around here. But to celebrate the Hunt Brothers® distribution center that's going in right here behind us, for me, is super cool. It's monumental," Zeke Lynam says.

With construction set to begin after the groundbreaking, the building is expected to be operational in the first part of December 2021.
