Fairfield County announces new industrial site

April 6, 2022

RIDGEWAY, SC -- Fairfield County Economic Development announced a new industrial site in the Fairfield Commerce Center. This 450,000 square foot pre-graded pad will be the first of it's kind in Fairfield County and one of the largest, currently available, pre-graded sites across South Carolina.

Located on approximately 50 acres, this pad has all utilities provided by Dominion Energy, TruVista and the Town of Winnsboro.

The Fairfield Commerce Center is located just 1 mile from I-77, 17 miles from I-20 and 21 miles from I-26.

"To be competitive, speed to market is critical. The new pad will save new industry both time and money as much of the permitting and risk associated with grading such a large parcel has been eliminated. Today we're one step closer to landing a new industry in Fairfield County" -- Ty Davenport, Fairfield County Economic Development Director

"Today is a great day in Fairfield County! This pad represents our bright future and everything we've worked toward." -- Moses Bell, Fairfield County Council Chairman
