COLUMBIA, SC – (February 16, 2017) The Central SC Alliance, the state’s oldest regional economic development alliance, has named four new additions to the 2016-2017 Board of Directors. The Alliance Board of Directors provides governance for the nine-county/City of Columbia regional organization as it promotes and brands the region and recruits businesses to the Central Region of South Carolina. The 33-member Board includes: the chair person from each of the member counties, the Mayor of Columbia, and leaders from private sector investors, and economic development allies.
